It’s funny how we can be scared and judgemental at the same time. Now don’t get me wrong here, while we try to do our best with our lives, we barely get out of our comfort zones. We are so scared to taking up something new and exploring an unknown territory that we would rather drown ourselves in a mediocre abyss than try to reach for the stars, or even something as meagre as following our passion. The thing is, all cowardice comes from the fear of failure. But is it really living if we don’t do what we really want to do? It is merely surviving. So ask yourself, have you #GotTheGuts to chase the life you want? Be who you truly are? You can of course fail, there’s always that probability of varied degree. But, don’t be a defeatist. Wouldn’t you rather fail than regret? Have you #GotTheGuts to finally accept what you may really want. It could be anything, a job, education of your preference, partner of your choice or even a bold lipstick you never tried before but always wanted to. Anything & everything.

But judgemental, how?

Think about it. Each of us, at least once, have judged someone just because they decided to follow an unusual path, personally or professionally. We all do or did at some point of time.

I, personally, am the kind of person who wants to give everything a try. Gather a myriad of experiences in the name of memories and stories to pass on. There are so many things I want to do, but let’s not talk about that as of now.

When I took up blogging full time, a lot of people around me, thankfully not my family (they have always been more than supportive), questioned my decision. But you see, I don’t care what anyone else thinks. I #GotTheGuts? maybe I do! I moved to a different country to support my husband’s work commitments, leaving everything behind, was I scared and nervous? Yes of course I was, but I was also excited to try new things. While I am still figuring out what I want to do now that I am here, I know for sure, I will follow my heart. You have to get out of your comfort zone and explore who you are!

There will always be times that’ll question your decision, your move. However, you got to face life head on and find a way to do what you want, try things, hustle. It’s never too late, it’s never too soon.

There’s so much to do in this life, don’t be stuck in a rut. Dream, work, achieve. Tell yourself, that you have it, you #GotTheGuts.

(Outfit Details: Oversized Denim Jacket & Belt – Forever 21, Dress – Koovs x Gauri & Nainika, Sneakers – Puma Basket Heart, Bag – Les Petits Joueurs, Bracelet – Kazo, Watch – Casio Baby G, Sunglasses – Ray Ban Clubmaster, Lipcolor – Kylie Cosmetics in Metallics ‘Reign’)

I came up with this look around my bold Baby G watch that I love to carry wherever possible. Besides it’s statement making appeal, it can challenge any kind of weather, terrain and situation and yet stay shock resistant. It’s sturdy and made for people who #GotTheGuts to challenge themselves and aren’t afraid to get rough. If you think this fits your personality and you #GotTheGuts, then you gotta have the watch that says it.

Much Love,
