The Three Rings That I Associate With My Day Of Love

Jewellery is always special, when it is a gift of love. Especially when it is from your partner it simply implies a deep bond. However, it’s twice as amazing when it comes with a celebration of a special day or moment, something like the day you found love!

I had an arranged marriage, as most of you know. My marriage was fixed in the month of October ‘13 and we got engaged within a month. The wedding was scheduled for the month of February next year. Of course, we didn’t fall in ‘love’ right away. It took us a while. It was in the month of December ’13 that we connected more and by New Year’s Eve, we were madly in love with each other.

We celebrated New Year’s Eve together not because it was the beginning of a new year but also the beginning of a new chapter. Shitiz and I often pamper each other, relive our special moments and gift each other something timeless as a token of what it feels like, a forever kind of love.

Platinum symbolises eternal love, like your love for your partner, so this year we decided to celebrate our Day of Love with Platinum Love Bands. Plus the whole idea of wearing matching bands kind of seems awesome, right?

I browsed through the Platinum Love Bands collection at Manohar Lal Jewellers in Noida and decided to share my three favourites from the range.

Here are my top picks:

I’ll quickly share why these three are my favourite. The common thing that holds true for them all is they are beautifully understated. When it comes to bands I prefer something elegant and classic.

The first one is a plain platinum band. I like how it’s effortless in its design. Its elegance makes it versatile so you can wear it any time.

The other two have diamonds and are more intricate and stylish in design. One has an interesting geometrical pattern with a blend of glisten and a matte finish. Cherry on top? A diamond! The sophisticated style made me fall in love with it at first sight.

The other pair of bands have an interlocking design with diamonds in the centre, which symbolizes the entwining lives of two people in love. I see these going well with not just my sensibilities but Shitiz’s as well.

What I like the most about the pure platinum love bands is that it not only symbolises eternity and love, the designs range from basic minimalistic matching bands to elegant diamond encrusted designs.

If you are planning to celebrate your day of love, I think you must check out what the Platinum Love Bands collection has to offer here –
