Be Young, Be Colorful

Now that we are waking up to foggy mornings, beginning to feel the nip in the air and have gotten our blankets out, we know it’s officially winter.

The evenings are going to be cold and gloomy and I’d probably be borderline lazy on most days. Getting out of the bed is going to be an effort, if you’re from Delhi, you’d know what I am talking about!

No doubt I love fall fashion or layering up for winters and dressing up, but there will be some days I am going to be bit laid-back and just want to snuggle myself into something easy and comfortable.

But does comfortable has to be boring?

I think the perfect way to add some sass to any basic comfort outfit is to add some colour or even a little more than that. Besides just brightening up the outfit on a gloomy day, the pop of colour ends up lifting your mood and you have fun with your outfit.

Further, you can either add one or two bright cheery pieces to your outfit, or mix different colours to create one look.

In today’s look that’s exactly what I have done, put together different colours to create a look. The outfit is pretty basic, a tee, striped trousers and a bomber jacket. The cap and the bag make up for accessorising. Basic combination, yes! However, it’s the colour play that steps up my style game here.

Staying true to its motto “Be Young, Be Colorful” the fall collection at United Colors of Benetton offers you a wide range of colours to pick from. Basic solids to bright ones, there’s a lot to play with. I had a fun time going through their latest autumn/winter collection and there are a few things I am actually eyeing for myself. Maybe you guys should too check out the collection if you haven’t yet and add some colour to your winter wardrobe!

Much Love,
