It’s been a while since I got back from Udaipur and there’s so much to share but circumstances aren’t being my best friend exactly. When I got back I had a lot of work commitments to get done with and the personal posts took a back seat. Then my parents were here for around a week and of course no work happened again followed by me being sick.
So I am not going to write too much because I still have fever and all I can think of is crawling back to my bed and napping. Hence, let the pictures do the talking now!
We spent some time sipping on beer at the courtyard, where they play live folk music with traditional Rajasthani dancers performing in the evenings, and then in the Library Bar at Leela Palace itself.
We had couple of beers and chit chatted till it was time for dinner. We had a 7.30 p.m. reservation at the Sheesh Mahal Restaurant in Leela Palace itself again.
It’s an open restaurant with the perfect romantic candle light set up and lake view. We could spot the City Palace, Taj Lake Palace and Jagmandir all lit up from our dinner table! This was our last dinner in Udaipur and we couldn’t have asked for anything better than this.
Did I mention the food was amazing!!
I wore this sheer long jacket from Archana Rao with dramatic balloon sleeves. The cuff gave a victorian edge to it and the colours were just perfect for a romantic evening and blended in perfectly with the mood. I wore it with a plain white spaghetti top from Zara and blue Tommy Hilfiger Denims. The heels and earrings are from Forever 21.
Hope you guys liked the post, I’d be back soon (hopefully) with another look from my Udaipur travel.
