Bae-Sic

As you guys know I was in Mumbai recently and I had an amazing time there, met Deepika Padukone and a fabulous stay experience at Taj Lands End followed. I can’t to wait share more details of my Mumbai trip but for now I have to share this summer look that I shot couple of weeks back but couldn’t post it until now.

First things first, what’s the inspiration behind the outfit: So my PCOS has kind of aggravated thanks to all that travel, sleep deprivation, irregular meals, and of course junk. I ended up putting on some unwanted weight #PCOSsucks boooo recently. Now of course I am kind of staying away from anything too fitted till I get fit. That also explains why am I wearing my Fitbit 24*7 these days 😛

Anyway, besides just having put on some extra kilos around the waist, generally during summers I prefer a loose silhouette so it lets my skin breathe. Over-sized tees are an obvious option for me and I can only think of multiple and fun ways of wearing an over-sized tee like this one below:

I am wearing this accordion pleated skirt (from Asos) under this long over-sized tee (from Adidas Originals). I love how it gives an illusion of a drop waist dress. I am keeping it really casual here with my Adidas Originals Stan Smith sneakers and a DVF wristlet. Summer is also about tied up hair, minimal makeup and bright lips so I decided to keep my hair and makeup just that.

You can also wear heels over this combination with a long strand of pearls around your neck for a chic look, something very Carrie Bradshaw from SATC 🙂

Hope you guys liked the post and find the look interesting enough to give it a try. Shitiz wasn’t much of a fan of the look, but I like it!

Much Love,

P
