While the first day was mostly about touring city and checking out heritage sites, the second day was more relaxed, also because we had our flight in the evening. To avoid missing our flight, we didn’t venture out much.
For breakfast, we went to this really nice place called ‘Tapri’, which was actually suggested by the hotel staff.
It was nice place with a young vibe to it, something similar to the cafes we have in Hauz Khas or even Khan Market in Delhi! The food was nice too, bit spicy though. I eat spicy food so wasn’t an issue for me but Shitiz ended up borrowing a lot of my mashed potatoes to help him get done with his mushroom sandwich (also, they don’t serve non-vegetarian food). Tapri is also famous for teas, so I had green tea while Shitiz had some Assam Tea.
After the breakfast, we headed to Bapu Bazaar for some street shopping. Since it was a Sunday, almost half the shops were closed but I did manage to shop some stuff!
Besides the shopping, Jaipur is also famous for its food!
Rawat Mishth Bhandar is quite popular for its Kachoris and Makhni Lassi, we got some Lassi for ourselves and got the Kachoris packed. Both things, yummmm!
After our little trip to the sweet shop we went straight back to the hotel, because hello, I need time to pack all that stuff which was all over our room.
Here are pictures of the day and some of our room and the hotel:
Pool & Gym
Rooftop Restaurant and Bar
(The Bar is yet to be functional as the hotel is new and the liquor licence is under process)
Street shopping and more..
The overall experience at the hotel was nice!
The location was good, not to far from the airport or the heritage sites, plus the hotel car helped. Rooms were clean and tidy. The service is very prompt and staff helpful. The sleep quality in the room was good too!
The food quality and taste was good too, do try Rajasthani cuisine there.
Now some outfit details:
(Zara Top, Henry Holland Skirt, Tommy Hilfiger Wedges, Prada Baroque Sunglasses, Daniel Wellington Watch, Earring from Shilparamam and BCBGeneration Bag)
I am planning to do a small video too on it, hope to get done with it and share it soon with you guys!
