Hair Care with Olique Hair Oil Potion

Product Review: Olique Hair Oil Potion

I have never had any dandruff issues till now but for last few months I have rather been facing its wrath! Besides just being untidy looking and itchy, dandruff also leads to hair fall. Like dandruff and an itchy scalp wasn’t enough, the hair fall was killing me.

And so began my search for products to get rid of the dandruff. While Google confused me with mixed reviews about almost everything and fancy bottles of various products in the supermarket lured me, nothing was really helping.

The next logical step was to ask friends and family around if they had anything to suggest and that’s when a friend of mine suggested me Olique Hair Oil Potion. She and everyone in her family had been using it for a while and were happy with the results. I was reluctant to try it as like many of you, I hadn’t heard about the product earlier, but since she was confident about it, I thought of giving it a try.

I have been using it for two months now but before I share my experience, let me tell a bit about it (yes I did my homework well before using it ).

Olique Hair Oil Potion is formulated to fight dandruff and hair fall all day. It has a unique formulation based on the genomic information on Dandruff causing fungus known as “Malassezia Species”. The medium chain glycol and anti-oxidants in it nourish deeply and also help in restoring the texture and shine of hair.

It comes in two options:

OLIQUE ADVANCED HAIR OIL POTION FOR NORMAL HAIR (125 INR for 50ml bottle)

OLIQUE ADVANCED HAIR OIL POTION FOR DRY & DAMAGED HAIR (135 INR for 50ml bottle)

I have been using the one for normal hair while my friend has been using the one for dry & damaged hair (and so the bottle is borrowed from her).

Verdict:

  • Consistency wise it is pretty thin and spreads easily so you don’t need a lot of it.
  • I like the smell or fragrance to be specific, so unlike the regular hair oils, in a pleasant way of course.
  • Since it’s a hair oil potion, you can easily leave it on for the day and go out if needed.
  • The bottle comes with a dispensing pump making it easier to use
  • In two months of usage, using it roughly twice a week at least, I have noticed a good amount of reduction in my dandruff and itchiness.
  • The hair fall has reduced too.
  • I am pretty happy with the result and intend to continue using it further and would recommend it too.
  • Easy on the pocket!

If dandruff and hair fall is troubling you too, this just might be the product you’re looking for.

You can order it from here.

And if you have already been using it, do share your experience here in the comments below!

Much Love,

P

    Hi Bhakti,
Glad you like my personal style. Also, I think the post pretty much mentions the fact that I tried the product while I was looking for something for myself and shared my experience about the same. Thanks.

Never heard of this brand, but I will definitely suggest the same to my younger sis to try as she is facing the same problem, itchy scalp and dandruff.

    Nice Review.

I am a big fan of your posts and i thank you for taking your time for this. I have this massively curly and voluminous hair but like always dandruffs are a big problem. My stylist suggested use of moroccan hair products and it has helped considering sulphates in normal shampoos have made it impossible for me. But it’s so not pocket friendly. Will this product work for me as well?
