My Blue Valentine

By  |  0 Comments

Am sure everyone’s timelines must be bleeding red with Valentine’s feeds. I won’t say am a fan of the whole Valentine thing but an extra day, besides birthdays and anniversaries, to go on a date or get pampered, doesn’t hurt either.

I haven’t made any plans as such, but will probably go out wearing something nice. The whole dressing up part is always the fun part (and that also reminds me that I need to figure out what to wear! ). I am sure you guys too would have planned of something, at least the ones who’re seeing someone or are in a relationship.

However, people who’re single can still go out with friends and family, you love them too, right? So what if you’re single! as I mentioned above, never say never to a chance to go out dressed up for some wine & dine.

Now as far as the dressing up part is concerned, red happens by default. It’s not a mandate, but a matter of choice of-course. There are people, who even if in a relationship, don’t want to wear red on this particular day, whatever the reason be. Then there are singles, who’d rather prefer being caught dead than be seen wearing red on 14th February while they’re out.

This post is a non-red Valentine’s Day outfit post. One of the options I may go for if I don’t feel like wearing red on V-day.

The outfit is styled around a dinner date, hence a dark colour, Blue with hint of glitter and shine.

Outfit Details: Dress and Heels from Forever 21, Neck-piece from Youshine, Clutch from BCBGeneration, Watch is Rolex Lady-Datejust, Lipstick So Chaud by Mac

I love the colour, very classy yet statement making at the same time. I kept the accessories to bare minimum with just a neck-piece and a dual tone watch to match the dual elements in the neckpiece. Added some glitter heels and a matching clutch to complete the look!

Hope you guys like and do share your comments below and pictures via email 🙂

Will surely share what I wore this Valentine on the blog, you guys too can tag me on Instagram / Twitter on your pictures to share your outfits with me !

Much Love,

P
