Femleisure

We all are very well acquainted with athleisure, aren’t we? The out of the gym look or mixing gym pieces with your going out or casual pieces. So what is femleisure exactly and how is it different from athleisure?

Femleisure is mixing your workout, sporty or athletic wear with super feminine or ultra-girly chic pieces and that’s exactly how it is different from athleisure. Femleisure is all girly or you can say it’s the girl-ier sister of athleisure. But it’s definitely a hot hybrid all cool girls are wearing at the moment!

It could be something as simple as wearing a lady like dress with your Stan Smith sneaks or an athletic tee with a girly skirt. Sometimes, you don’t even need much effort and a cute bag or some nice heels will do the job. Idea is to have that soft feminine touch to the look.

While wearing athletic tee or jacket with skirt and heels one of the most worn femleisure look at the moment, I wanted to try something different. Considering there’s so much you can do with this trend, I wouldn’t mind playing around with different combinations and mix ups. Here’s one of my take on it.

I am wearing this super feminine wrap blouse with dramatic statement sleeves with my joggers. I added a pair of heels to keep the feminine vibe going but a very neutral makeup and tied up hair to balance the athletic element besides my sporty-chic sunglasses. I kept the accessories minimal too. But of course you can play around with femleisure however you want.

(Outfit Details: Zara top, Adidas Originals joggers, Calvin Klein heels, Polaroid sunglasses, accessories are old buy and unfortunately I don’t remember the brands, Kylie Cosmetics Gloss in shade Literally on lips)

Hope you guys like this look I created. Also, I know a lot of you guys requested me to do the bun tutorial when I shared the pictures on my instastory, I will surely share that soon.

Much Love,

P
